Ines Nasri Is Selected as a Mentor for the SelectUSA Select Global Women in Tech Series
The Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center in National Harbor, Maryland, served as host for this year’s SelectUSA Investment Summit from June 26 to 29, 2022. SelectUSA Investment Summit is an event sponsored by the U.S. Department of Commerce dedicated to promoting foreign direct investment in the United States.
The SelectUSA Investment Summit hosts 3,000 attendees annually and has contributed over $57.9 billion in new U.S. investments, generating over 47,000 jobs in the United States and its territories. SelectUSA provides an excellent opportunity for foreign investors to connect with businesses and economic developers across the U.S. and its territories. This initiative has attracted more than 1,200 investors from more than 80 countries.
Among the programs included in the SelectUSA Investment Summit is the Select Global Women in Tech (SGWIT) series. This series is designed for women founders, entrepreneurs, and executives worldwide to connect with their successful and seasoned counterparts in the U.S. to help them develop an effective entry market strategy and provide them with essential information to help them succeed in the U.S. market.
The SGWIT series is a mentorship program where international women business leaders are matched in sessions with experienced and successful mentors, including WebPower U.S.A. LLC’s Ines Nasri.
The SGWIT platform is designed for mentorship and learning for women in business. Mentees from international markets and investors will be matched with mentors such as Ines based on their respective industries, goals, and expertise.
Ines is renowned in the industry for being a staunch advocate of support for women in business and for her experience in sharing her knowledge of the latest digital marketing trends on various platforms in different countries worldwide.
The mentors were selected from across the U.S. from successful companies based on their interests in supporting a women-run business, making Ines’ selection perfect for this leadership mentoring and learning program. The program runs for six months, where participants should conduct at least three one-on-one meetings. The three meetings should include at least an introductory session, a progress update meeting, and a final meeting to plan the next steps.
Mentees, in particular, will find it easier to navigate the specifics of doing business in the U.S.A., such as local and federal regulations, the business environment, and market knowledge, especially relating to women-run businesses.
Moreover, with the help of their mentors, they will have a more accessible opportunity to tap into the U.S. market. The mentees and mentors will gain tremendous benefits from the program as they build on their new skills, expand their respective markets, generate new contacts, inspire ideas, achieve their individual goals, and strengthen their businesses.
