Being a leader in Changing times debate

The American Chamber of Commerce in Tunisia (AmCham Tunisia)is a nongovernmental organization created in 1989. It is a founding member of the MENA AmCham Council, which groups the chambers of commerce in the Middle East and North Africa.

AmCham’s overall mission is to encourage connections between businessmen and leaders in Tunisia to their counterparts in the United States of America. In particular, it is dedicated to promoting economic, cultural and commercial exchanges between the two countries.

AmCham hosts a series of professional events including workshops, debates, and roundtables throughout the year. These events represent an excellent opportunity for members and selected guests, chosen among the country impacting leaders in their fields, to share their views with prominent international political and business speakers from the government, international agencies, and the private sector worldwide.

The American Chamber of Commerce in Tunisia (AmCham Tunisia) has organized on September 20th,2018 a breakfast debate on ‘’ Being a leader in Changing times’’. The keynote speaker of the event was Mr. Gary A Bolles; Chair of Future of Work.

Mr. Bowles is an internationally-recognized expert on the future of work and the future of learning. His focus is on the strategies for helping individuals, organizations, communities, and countries to thrive in the transition to a digital work economy.

Bolles has served as a strategic consultant and visiting lecturer for clients such as Google, Intel, the New Zealand Government, and the United Nations. He has also co-founded a variety of conferences and strategic initiatives.

Ines was kindly invited to participate and she took part in the debate presenting her vision of leadership in a shifting economic context. She also emphasized on the importance of integrating digital innovations and the latest disrupting technologies in the equation of work and leadership worldwide. Finally, she insisted, giving many examples, on the importance of working on changing mindsets far before investing in the tools to make sure companies have a chance to succeed in their digital transformation projects.
